Canva AI in South Africa: prices in rand and what you get
Canva's AI tools (Magic Write, Magic Edit, background removal, Chat with Canva AI and more) sit inside the design app that many South African small businesses already use. Canva prices in rand with VAT included. Here is what is free, what Pro adds, and how the AI allowance works.
For most South African small businesses, Canva AI is the easiest way to start using AI for marketing, because it sits inside a design tool people already know. The free plan includes AI writing and chat. Pro, at R110 a month with VAT included, adds the editing tools that save real time, such as background removal, Magic Edit and resizing one design for every platform.
Its AI images are good enough for social posts, but Midjourney and Adobe Firefly do more for pure image quality. AI use is metered each month, and your designs are stored in the United States. For a team with a brand to keep consistent, Business adds brand controls and keeps your content out of AI training.
